Pasco County Rental Assistance

A few days ago I posted about rental assistance through the Our Florida program, and today I want to share about the Pasco HEART program.

The program, called Pasco Helping with Emergency Relief for Tenants is a partnership between Pasco Community Development and a few local non-profits. The program will pay bills directly for those who qualify.

Each month, on the second Monday of the month, an online portal is available at this link. The portal is open for 10 days in which you can apply for assistance with your rent and utilities. The program will pay up to 18 months of rent and utilities (water and electric).

The requirements to qualify are to be at or below 80% of the area median income, have a past due rent or utility bill, prove Pasco residency, and have experienced economic impact due to COVID-19. Those who have experienced unemployment and are under 50% AMI will be prioritized.

You can apply here.
